Grace Lescano, RN, BSN, MBA bio:
Personal quote – “Enjoy life, and live life to its fullest. Always believe in yourself!”
Grace is a seasoned Registered Nurse with over 19 years experience with specialties in electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, general cardiology, and critical care. She worked in numerous fields of nursing, such as critical care, clinical research, and the cardiac catheterization lab where she worked hard to broaden her knowledge base and sharpen her clinical skills. For about 4 years, she was a travel nurse for critical care and PACU and worked in San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, New York City, and Honolulu at some of the top hospitals in the country, such as UCSF, New York Presbyterian, and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Her various clinical experiences allowed her the invaluable opportunity to learn how healthcare is provided in different areas of the country and to different populations. With all of her experiences, Grace realized she enjoys teaching patients about wellness and healthcare topics and created the “Grace the Nurse” health videos and social media accounts to provide health education to the public online in an entertaining yet informative way.
Grace was born and raised in New Jersey. She went to college at The College of New Jersey where she graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 1999. In 2005, Grace obtained her MBA with a concentration in Marketing from Rutgers University in New Jersey and graduated with High Honors. She has 1 brother who has a daughter and 2 sons that she adores. She has a passion for music and plays the piano and enjoys watching live music, mainly jazz, hip-hop and R&B. Grace also enjoys dancing salsa and hip hop and used to take taiko drumming lessons.
